Pro-Scan Handheld Metal Detector
The high performance Pro-Scan hand held metal detector and body scanner is designed to meet the rigid requirements of the security industry. Typical uses will include body search for weapons in crowd control, airport and border security, checking parcels and letters for metal objects and anywhere that hidden metal needs to be detected. The ProScan operates on one 9-volt alkaline or rechargeable battery.
A metal object is indicated by an audio warning tone and a red light. The sensitivity is adjustable. An average hand gun will be detected at 7.75 inches on low sensitivity and 11 inches at maximum sensitivity. A Pen knife will be detected at 4 inches on low and 6 inches on high. A razor blade will be detected at 2 inches on low and 4 inches on high. Even a hat pin can be detected. #SPMD3003

The Pro-Scan II hand held metal detector uses a 50% thicker case that the Pro-Scan and has a 20% Larger scanning area. It also allows easier switching between high or low sensitivity modes.
