Private Investigation Services

Our private investigators and detectives assist individuals, businesses, and attorneys by discovering and analyzing specific pieces of information. We assist our clients in connecting these clues to uncover the facts about personal, financial or legal matters. All of our private investigators are state licensed, professionally trained, and very experienced. We offer many services, including:

  • Preemployment background checks
  • Name and identity verification
  • Individual background profiles
  • Identity theft research
  • Criminal and civil liability case support
  • Insurance claims and fraud cases
  • Child custody and protection cases
  • Missing persons cases
  • Dating and premarital screening
  • Employment verification
  • Education verification
  • Infidelity research
  • Video surveillance
  • GPS tracking
  • Asset searches

We utilize many methods to determine the facts in a case. Most of our work is done using high end technology, experienced investigation skills, and professional interviewing techniques. We have unique access to many state and federal computer databases that allow our investigators to quickly obtain huge amounts of information about a subject. Initial searches reveal records of a subject's prior arrests, convictions, civil judgments, photographs, telephone numbers, relatives, motor vehicle registrations, associations to club memberships, and even details about social networking sites.

Our private investigators also conduct various other types of information retrieval such as audio and video surveillance. To verify an individual's income or employer, we may visit or call a subject's workplace. Some cases require us to interview colleagues or neighbors to gather as much information as possible. This is especially true when conducting deep background checks or locating missing persons. During covert operations, our investigators may go undercover to get more detailed information or to observe the subject inconspicuously. We can arrange to join their gym, social groups, or even be hired in the subject's workplace to observe their behavior.

Physical & Video Surveillance

Most of our detectives and investigators have been professionally trained to perform physical surveillance, which may be high or low tech depending on the situation. This can include observing the home of a subject from an inconspicuous location or from a vehicle. We use photographic and video cameras, GPS systems, binoculars, night vision, and specially disguised equipment. The style and depth of our surveillance is customized to the client's need.

In an example of insurance fraud or a fraudulent workers' compensation claim, our private investigators may carry out long term covert surveillance of a person. If the investigator can observe the person carrying out an activity that contradicts their stated injuries, it can greatly assist the client in defending their position. We are very careful in our surveillance techniques to ensure that the evidence is properly obtained. This is a very important aspect of a professional private investigator so that it does not compromise the admissibility of evidence in court.

Private Investigator Specialties

Some of our private detectives specialize in a particular area to better serve our customers. Some detectives may focus on areas such as intellectual property theft, piracy of copyrighted material, matrimony issues and infidelity, or providing intelligence for prosecution and civil action. Other investigators specialize in developing financial profiles by carrying out asset searches.

Our computer forensic investigators specialize in analyzing and reporting data from computers systems for use in investigations or as evidence. They may determine the details of system intrusions, recover data from encrypted or deleted files, or recover emails and deleted passwords.

Our legal private investigators assist attorneys in preparing criminal defenses, locating witnesses, serving legal documentation, interviewing prospective witnesses, and gathering evidence. Our legal detectives also collect information on the litigation parties, may testify in court, or assemble evidence for a trial. These clients may be law firms, insurance companies or a victim's family. Different cases and clients require that the information is gathered uniquely through interviews, investigation and surveillance, and document research.

Our corporate private investigators conduct internal and external investigations that may include research into employee drug use, employee theft, trade secret theft, or even misappropriate use of company funds. These investigators may spend time posing as employees or vendors of the company in order to find misconduct.

Our financial private investigators are typically hired to develop confidential financial profiles of companies or individuals that are potential parties to large purchases or financial transactions. These detectives are often experienced as certified public accountants who work closely with investment bankers and other accountants. These investigators may also search for assets in order to recover damages awarded by a court in fraud or theft cases.

We also offer private investigators that are experienced in researching infidelity issues such as a cheating spouse. This may include GPS tracking, covert surveillance, or direct interaction with the subject. Our clients requiring this type of private investigation may be involved in a divorce or child custody issue where the infidelity of a parent may affect the child's well being.
