Lab Administered Drug Testing
We offer pre-employment drug tests and substance abuse testing to help employers make informed choices during the employment and preemnployment phases. Some employers conduct random drug testing and our system provides fast and easy lab testing. Whether you conduct existing
employee screening or just applicant screening, we can provide the tools for all your
employment drug screening needs.
Why conduct drug testing?
Drug testing has become an important safety issue in the workplace. The majority of all Fortune 500 companies do drug testing and many smaller businesses have seen the importance of
pre-employment drug screening
as well. The purpose is to lessen the impact from drug abuse in the workplace, including tardiness, absenteeism, turnover, attitude problems, theft, decreased productivity, crime and violence.
Drug tests for employment can vary in style and we offer both
oral drug testing (saliva drug test) and lab administered urine drug screening. Both are very effective for drug detection and offer you more flexibility in your
substance abuse testing.
The US Department of Labor estimates that drug use in the workplace costs employers $75 to $100 billion dollars annually in lost time, accidents, health care and workers compensation costs. Sixty-five percent of all accidents on the job are related to drug or alcohol, and substance abusers utilize 16 times as many health care benefits and are six times more likely to file workers compensation claims then non-abusers. Almost all HR specialists performing a
candidate drug test
have found
substance abuse testing
to be a valuable and cost-effective risk management tool.
